ChromaDetox™ is a potent antioxidant molecule designed to protect the skin from oxidative stress and aid in detoxification, which contributes to improved skin appearance and reduced signs of aging. This bioinspired ingredient offers triple protection against reactive oxygen species (ROS), reactive nitrogen species (RNS), and reactive carbonyl species (RCS), making it a comprehensive solution for skin exposed to various environmental stressors such as UV radiation and pollutants. The molecule functions by neutralizing reactive species and supporting the skin's natural detoxification processes, thereby preserving cellular functions and biomolecules.
Scientific studies on ChromaDetox™ demonstrated significant results. In a 28-day study with 20 women aged 33-57, a cream containing 0.05% ChromaDetox™ was applied to one side of the face, while a placebo was applied to the other. The results showed improved antioxidative capacity, enhanced skin elasticity, and a reduction in wrinkle depth and dark spots. Another study involving 31 women aged 18-44 over 56 days revealed a decrease in melanin index, suggesting a brighter and more even skin tone.
